Job DescriptionTrusted Staffe is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join the team at our partner home care provider in Glen Carbon, IL. This is a travel contract position offering competitive compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes, assessing functional limitations and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients’ ability to perform daily living activities and achieve independence.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and assistive devices.
- Collaborate withphysicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress.
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Illinois.
- Minimum of one year of occupational therapy experience in a home health setting.
- Current BLS certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Job Details
- Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Daily caseload: 5-6 patients
- No weekends required
- No on-call responsibilities
- No floating to other facilities
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
- Pending Illinois OT license accepted
- Business casual dress code
- Epic charting system
- On-site orientation with preceptor
- Ample parking available
