Job DescriptionTrusted Staffe is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team at our partner medical center in La Junta, CO. This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and start IVs as ordered.
- Interpret and respond to changes in patient status, including cardiac rhythms.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Demonstrate strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
- Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing.
- Ability to work charge nurse responsibilities as needed.
- Flexibility to accommodate block scheduling.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required prior to start date.
- Previous experience in a regional medical center setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
