Job Title: Engineer I / Construction Coordinator

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

Full time, it will be a hybrid or remote work smart position. Mostly working from a home office and occasionally works on offices.

Job Description:

• Responsible for government relocation request shared mailboxes, tracking site, GIS and Maximo systems.
• This role will be to monitor the government relocation shared mailboxes and provide initial feedback to external entities to drive transparency in relocation requests and clarity for external project relocation needs.
• This role will support NGBU Engineering, Distribution Construction, and Major Projects teams. Activities will include but are not limited to create work orders in Maximo (if necessary), create digital job folders, develop tracking mechanism for relocation requests, liaison with government entities, edit procedures, maintain organization for project specific information sent to PNG.

Responsibilities

• Provides engineering / technical expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis and resolution of problems in area of expertise
• Independently prepares thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation and sketches
• Strives to continually improve job-related, technical and professional knowledge, skills and performance
• Develops positive working relationships to effectively coordinate work activities. Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills. Maintains accurate records and files.
• May assist with pre-construction activities for multiple projects to include planning and routing of proposed pipelines along with property owner identification and notification, when necessary.

Additional Details

• Manage multiple projects or tasks concurrently.
• Understanding of basic practices of researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, making sound recommendations and preparing & presenting recommendations.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $23.71 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
