Job Description

This role will support Visa’s Issuer Processor Business - Visa DPS - a market leader in North America. You will be part of the cross-functional team responsible for launching new products and marketing messaging. This is a unique opportunity to build Product Marketing for an established brand as it redefines its go-to-market strategy.

The role will begin by developing a robust, outcome-driven marketing plan for key products and services. This will be done in collaboration with executive leadership, as well as product and commercialization teams, while prioritizing focus areas.

You will bring together a budget, cross-functional teams across Global Product and B2B Marketing, and agencies to create an execution plan.

Hands-on work on messaging and positioning is expected, along with leading cross-functional teams and agencies in the execution of content and collateral.

You will develop a B2B Integrated Campaign plan for the DPS and use Visa’s B2B Marketing Measurement framework to measure impact.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience as a Product Marketing Manager (B2B) in Financial Services Technology and/or related areas such as Payments, Issuing Solutions, Financial Infrastructure and Services. Experience in SaaS Product Marketing will be advantageous.
  • Experience in leading end-to-end product marketing for a product and/or service, including experience in launching products and supporting revenue growth.
  • Capability to develop messaging and content for marketing and sales motions.
  • Experience in supporting the go-to-market of a product or service with a complete Product and B2B Marketing plan - from content to campaigns and demand generation.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization, pitch, and increase the influence of marketing with business and product leaders.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills are required, along with proficiency in using tools and approaches for agile marketing.
  • Experience and capacity to quickly understand core product and service functionality, customer needs, and industry trends to incorporate into messaging and content.
  • Experience in interacting with industry analysts and influencers is necessary.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 134,000 to 228,650 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
