Visa is seeking an experienced designer to support corporate marketing activation for Value-Added Service, a core area of focus within Visa. The Sr. Designer role will support key executive partners. This role will change the way marketing supports the business in a creative transformational year. This role requires someone who with world-class design skills across multiple mediums from print to digital, static to motion. This person should be willing to smartly challenge the status quo in order to get to a net end goal of a fresh, interesting, and modern design standard. Our creative should be bold, relevant, and cut through the noise in today’s world of content and creative inundation.
Essential Functions
Production of new and existing concepts to provide complete deliverables, supporting on-brand guides and templates where needed.
Sample asset types: Presentation materials (PowerPoint), conference events, webinars, executive newsletters, email, infographics.
Full stack video production
Storytelling through creative execution. Focal support of our executive teams and strategic narratives.
Extending visual systems/brand guidelines across all mediums
Visualization, design and conceptualization of user experiences to ensure best-of-breed marketing, advertising, and CX.
Design content with users and humans at the forefront.
Outstanding art direction and design experience across a variety of media including digital, social, collateral, print, broadcast, events. Clean, modern design that presents well in a Fintech world.
Knowledge of how to define scalable structures and tell stories with wireframes and user flows.
Follow animation best practices and contribute motion standards to our design system for use cases where none exist.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Basic Qualifications
•8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least
5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
•Experience creating informative and entertaining short-form video preferred.
•Ability to translate complex concepts into clear design that is active,
understandable, and human.
•An understanding of the business goals behind animation and video
•Creates interest through mediums, is daring, bold. Thinks differently. Willing to
challenge boundaries and existing practices to enable the strongest and most
impactful creative expression possible.
•Must be a strong conceptual thinker as well as hands on across all digital and
print mediums (e.g. web, email, booth design)
•Into the details, doesn’t miss a beat with changing asks and balancing multiple
projects.
•Ability to solve problems using keen instincts and organizational experience.
•Self-motivated, self-managed. Gets stuff done – on time, on budget.
•Expert in Adobe CS, Figma, Sketch, other relevant design software. This role
will operate in PowerPoint design as part of core responsibilities.
•Portfolio required: should highlight variety of work across mediums.
•9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 7 or
more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters,
MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
•Bachelor’s degree in Motion Design, Animation, Video, or similar discipline or
equivalent experience
•Payment industry experience preferred, but not required.
•Advanced knowledge of industry standard design, animation, and video tools
•User Centered Design (UCD) and Usability Testing
•3D and UX design, animation a plus
•7 years industry experience, preferably 1 in a cross disciplinary agency
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 119,700.00 to 173,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
