About Us: Fire is a fast-paced, wood-fired pizza restaurant and bar known for our delicious pizzas, Italian cuisine, craft cocktails, and exceptional customer service. We are located in the bustling Pybus Public Market, a hub of local food and culture. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead and Bartender to join our team and help us continue delivering an outstanding dining experience to our guests.

Position Summary: The Lead Server/Bartender is a dual-role position that combines the responsibilities of a lead staff member with those of a bartender. This individual will oversee the front-of-house operations, ensure excellent customer service, and craft high-quality beverages for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and expertise in mixology.

Leadership Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate the team, setting a positive example for other staff members.
• Assist in training new employees and provide ongoing support and development.
• Address and resolve any customer service issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.

Bartending Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including craft cocktails, beer, and wine.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking and inventory management.
• Engage with customers, taking orders, and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
• Check identification to ensure customers meet the legal drinking age.
• Manage cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Create and develop new cocktail recipes in collaboration with the team.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bartender, with a strong understanding of mixology and cocktail preparation.
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role in the hospitality industry is highly preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
