Vision Care Associates is Hiring a Front Desk Receptionist Near Westerly, RI

Front Desk Receptionist

We are currently interviewing for a full-time position dealing primarily with front office reception and associated administrative duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a professional and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our practice. Must possess good interpersonal skills, including excellent communication skills and ability to deal effectively with patients, staff and physicians in a courteous manner. Previous experience working in a medical office is preferred. A candidate for this position should be a team player, detail-oriented and able to multitask. Primary responsibilities will include checking patients in/out, updating patient demographics, collecting copays, answering patient phone calls, managing patient scheduling, posting payments and charges to patient ledgers, verification of insurances, and performing various administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations of the front desk.

Full time (32-36hrs)

M-Thu 9:00-5:00pm, Fri 9:00-12:00pm

REQUIRED High School Diploma

Candidates with prior front desk experience in a busy medical office is highly preferred but would be willing to train the right candidate.

Benefits: PRO-RATED BASED ON HOURS WORKED

Schedule: Exact hours TBD

We are willing to train but pay commensurate with experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
