At Palm Beach Eye Center - Delray we are looking for an experienced Ophthalmic Technician to join our growing team!

This is a Monday - Friday, Day shift position.No Weekends and No Holidays, with great benefits and competitive pay!

As an ophthalmic technician in our state-of-the-art practice, you will be:

  • Experienced in a fast-paced clinic environment.
  • Efficient and accurate at interviewing patients and documenting histories.
  • Able to ensure charts are updated and accurate.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of eye anatomy, disease, and ocular medications.
  • Experienced with HVF, Lensometry, Keratometry, Tonometry, Visual Fields, Amslers,
  • Muscle Fields, Pupil Exams, and Refracting.
  • Proficient with EMR computer programs.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong Ophthalmic Tech experience
  • Refractions experience
  • Experience with checking vision and identifying chief complaint
  • IOP
  • Knowledge of various diagnostic tests (Fundus photos, OCT, Visuals)
  • Strong hospitality, customer service, and patient care skills
