Sr. UX/UI Designer

Join an existing team as a UX/UI Designer at a profitable, rapidly growing Tech startup! As a Sr. UX/UI Designer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting user-centric experiences across both desktop and mobile platforms. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders, to create intuitive, engaging interfaces and bring our design vision to life.

This is a direct hire opportunity based in Chamblee, GA.

This hybrid role offers telecommuting 2x/week (Tues./Fri.) & every other Wed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the design process for desktop & mobile apps, from concept through to execution
• Conduct user research & usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions
• Develop detailed wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders to align on project goals and deliver designs that meet business goals
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, & retrospectives
• Contribute to the development & maintenance of design systems & style guides to ensure consistency across all platforms
• Iterate on designs based on feedback from users, stakeholders, & testing to continuously improve the UX

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 5 years' experience as a UX/UI Designer, including user research
• Must have a strong portfolio showcasing your work for web, desktop, & mobile apps
• Strong experience using Figma to design & create wireframes & interactive prototypes
• Solid experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and in using JIRA
• Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles, usability, & accessibility best practices
• Strong communication & collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to diverse audiences
• Proven ability to tackle complex design challenges and deliver elegant, user-friendly solutions

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience working for a software startup or software firm/company
• Experience in designing complex enterprise applications
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS & front-end development principles
