About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Finance & Operations to join their senior executive team and lead the optimization of operational and financial strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational and financial excellence, with a focus on the effective delivery of the company's mission, particularly in the Middle East. This role involves close collaboration with the CEO, Comptroller, and Board to align operational strategies with financial objectives, provide financial oversight, and mentor the operational team in integrating financial acumen into decision-making processes. The VP will also lead operational management across various functional areas, develop comprehensive operational strategies, and enhance internal systems to drive efficiency and maximize mission impact.Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of experience in operational management and strategic financial planning, with at least 5 years' in a senior leadership role within nonprofit operations, preferably in an international organization. A proven track record in driving operational efficiencies, strong financial acumen, and exceptional leadership skills are essential. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, professional fluency in English and Arabic, and experience working in or with the Middle East. A Master's degree and knowledge of nonprofit financial regulations in the US and the Middle East are preferred. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, adept at stakeholder engagement, and committed to fostering a culture of operational excellence.
