Visiting Angels of Northbrook is Seeking a Compassionate Home Caregiver to Join Our Growing Team!Design the schedule that works for you Caregiver Benefits:

  • Organized and caring leadership, which provides 24-hour support
Caregiver Responsibilities:
  • Provide non-medical support to senior clients in their homes
  • Supply personal care and hygiene assistance; including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
  • Provide friendly companionship and socialization
  • Help the client with mobility-related challenges, such as help with walking and/or transfers
  • Issue medication reminders, where required
  • Transport clients to doctor's appointments and errands
  • Perform meal preparation, grocery shopping, and light housekeeping duties
Caregiver Requirements:
  • Valid Driver’s License, lease/own your own vehicle, and provide proof of current auto insurance
  • Perform all personal care and hygiene assistance functions as described above
  • Submit to state/national criminal background check, state fingerprinting, and drug screening
  • Able to transfer patients and provide needed mobility assistance, including turning immobile patients who are bed-ridden
  • 1 year of senior caregiving experience is preferred
