We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Contract RN to focus on serving veterans throughout NW Arkansas. The Contract RN plays a vital role in ensuring the onboarding and assessment of veterans utilizing their benefits for Homecare. Visiting Angels is a national, private duty network of home care agencies. With our senior home care services, elderly adults can continue to live independently in their own homes

Position Overview:

The Contract Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a variety of healthcare settings on a temporary basis. The RN will be responsible for assessing patient needs and developing a care plan. This role is ideal for a skilled and adaptable nurse looking to work in diverse environments and gain a broad range of clinical experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients’ health conditions.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and implement patient care.

Clinical Duties:

• Provide health education to patients and their families.

Communication:

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Document nursing interventions and patient responses accurately.
• Report any changes in patient conditions to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of Arkansas

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 10 per week
