Caregiver needed for Male Client in Gibson County. Tuesdays, Thursdays and possibly Saturdays. 9a-1p or 1p-5p. Help elderly client stay in his home by assisting with daily living tasks.

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide direct support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Personal Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with various needs, including social work, dementia care, medication administration, senior care, childcare, and more. Duties: - Provide direct support to clients in their daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration - Assist with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping - Offer emotional support and companionship to clients - Coordinate appointments and transportation for clients as needed - Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress - Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain client confidentiality - Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming - Provide assistance with mobility and transfers for clients with physical limitations Qualifications: - Previous experience in social work or a related field is preferred - Knowledge of dementia care techniques and strategies - Familiarity with medication administration protocols - Understanding of senior care needs and best practices - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks effectively - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Knowledge of childcare practices is a plus - Familiarity with nursing home operations is beneficial If you are a compassionate individual who is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.
