Private Duty Nursing: Providing Specialized Care
Private Duty Nursing involves delivering personalized care in the home to clients with complex healthcare needs, requiring round-the-clock nursing services for up to 16 hours a day.
Responsibilities of Private Duty Nurses

• Delivering personalized care and fostering patient relationships
• Conducting vital sign monitoring and physical assessments
• Administering medications and treatments as per physician's instructions
• Documenting patient's ongoing health status
• Proficiency in G-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator care may be necessary

Comprehensive Training and Support

• Specialized one-on-one training
• Training in tracheostomy, ventilator, and G-tube care
• Access to 24/7 support staff for assistance

Qualifications Desired
