Visium Resources is Hiring a HR Manager Near Orlando, FL

Introduction

Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Human Resources Manager position. This position is a direct hire opportunity, which is expected to be on-site in Orlando, FL.

Summary

The Human Resources Manager directly reports to the Business Manager and is tasked with overseeing staff recruitment and retention, along with ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal employment regulations.

  • Understand, are committed to, and communicate the Company Vision, Mission, and Core Values.
  • Propose quality improvement initiatives to improve production processes and procedures to Senior Leadership.
  • Offer input, ideas, and concerns that will improve the quality of our work to company leadership.
  • In collaboration with Team Leaders, Team Principals, and the Executive Committee, recruit staff to expand operations.  Manage the recruitment of new job positions.
  • Manage the creation of job advertisements and post them on the internet or in professional publications as needed.
  • Arrange and manage interviews with the relevant leadership team.
  • Provide onboarding and orientation for new employees.
  • Review employment documentation for compliance with federal and state laws.
  • Monitor the company's professional licenses and ensure they are up to date.
  • Monitor the staff's PE licenses and ensure they are up to date.
  • Administer, maintain, and ensure compliance of the company policy manual.
  • Benefits Administrator: Conduct plan orientation for eligible employees, acquire necessary documentation and enrollment applications, and oversee changes and renewals.
  • Coordinate with the Executive Committee and Business Manager to annually review and modify the company's benefits as needed.
  • 401K Benefits Administrator: Conduct plan orientation for eligible employees, acquire necessary documentation and enrollment applications, and maintain changes as requested.
  • Ensure the required notifications are provided to employees in a timely manner in accordance with federal and state laws.

Qualified candidates would have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • A minimum of three years(s) of human resource management experience (preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
