Responsible for managing the accuracy of inventory records in the PowerHouse WMS System. Included effective processes for receiving put-aways, picking, restocking, production usage, shipping, cycle counting, and physical inventory. Supervises small Inventory Control staff that helps maintain inventory records in the WMS System. Interacts with production management and supervisors, shipping and receiving staff, and material handling staff.

• Develop and oversee effective processes for putting away materials received into the facility by the Receiving and Material Handling staffs. This includes Put-Away Assignments for Material Handlers and Put-Away Verifications after assignments are completed.
• Develop and oversee effective processes for picking materials for production use, including Picking/ReStock Assignments and Production Staging Pre-Inspections of picking accuracy.
• Develop and oversee effective processes for Production Kit-Building (i.e. creating finished goods and consuming raw materials.)
• Develop and oversee effective processes for shipping Finished Goods to customers.
• Coordinate with the Sales, Customer Service, Receiving, and Production staff to verify the information in the WMS System regarding physical palled and case configurations for new materials and new customers, and production Bills of Material (BOMs) for new products and services.
• Oversee the ongoing performance of the Inventory Control staff and collaborate with HR regarding staff recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and performance reviews.
• Provide regular reports to Inventory Control and Production management regarding the storage requirements for materials from all customers, including periodic reviews of inventory movement and usage volumes that aid in minimizing inventory movement time and costs based on storage optimization.
• Collaborate with Material Handling management regarding the material movement volume.
• Ensure that all inventory movement activity is properly recorded in the Warehouse Management System and is recorded on a timely basis.
• Notify the Inventory Control and Production management promptly regarding any inventory accuracy or record-keeping concerns or problems.
• Communicate effectively with employees, management, and customers, both verbally and in writing.
