We are looking for an FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team. Reporting into the FP&A Manager, you will maintain robust financial models to enable sound business planning and decision making. This role offers a good opportunity for exposure to senior management and external stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
- Maintaining robust financial models to enable sound business planning and decision making.
- Preparation of reports and presentations in connection with ongoing business performance and strategic projects, for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive the annual budgeting and planning process in collaboration with company leadership.
- Preparation and review of monthly flash reporting.
- Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement in the financial reporting and operating processes.
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected variances to budget/forecast.
- Analyse current and past trends in KPIs including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures.
- Continuously enhance systems and/or processes to improve forecast & planning, business insight, and analysis to support execution of strategic initiatives.
- Analysis on quality of data in SAP.
- Ad-hoc analysis, research, and reports.
- Recognised degree or professional qualification in accounting or finance.
- 3 years professional accounting or finance experience; preferable in FP&A.
- A dynamic personality, flexible and committed during busy periods, with a can-do attitude.
- Have a passion for structure, simplicity and efficiency required for optimal financial modelling, with a proven ability to construct well-structured, robust, logical, Excel-based financial models for complex businesses.
- Ability to prioritize and manage numerous projects at once, with ability to summarise complex financial data in clear analyses and presentations.
- Familiarity with SAP is an advantage.
