Job Summary
This position will work with the Director, Wholesale Planning in the creation/maintenance/ownership of centralized wholesale management reports including operational metrics, reports & dashboards, and financial operating reports. .Job Description
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for multiple assignments involving complex financial and/or operating forecasting and analyses
- Performs economic/financial research and analyses as assigned for use in the development of business strategies and tactics and in subsequent appraisal of results
- Develop ad hoc financial and operational reporting processes as needed
- Actively work with and lead various internal/external teams by providing data expertise, offering original perspectives, and challenging conventional views to better align decision-making with changing business needs
Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics or other related analytical discipline
- 5 years finance work experience in a dynamic and analytical environment
- 2 years working in wholesale power markets preferred
- Experience in the competitive energy industry (power, natural gas) preferred
- Experience with Host Analytics
- Strong ability to analyze large data sets, summarize and communicate/present effectively
- Strong communication skills
Key Metrics
- Ensure coordination of wholesale Finance Operating Report inputs
- Ensure the collection of data for, and the calculation of, Commercial Availability for Wholesale Operations
