The opportunity :

Visy Board in Hamilton specialise in manufacturing innovative corrugated cardboard packaging solutions using highly automated production machinery.

Since opening in May 2018, we have been maximising our manufacturing capabilities to support and distribute high volumes of quality packaging solutions to all big brands across New Zealand.

We are currently recruiting an experienced Forklift Driver to join our team based in Visy Board, Hamilton. This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, on the PM shift 3.

30pm to 2am. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to :

• Operate in accordance with site safety standards and procedures.
• Pallet handling including loading and unloading of pallets from transport vehicles, as well as loading of palletising equipment.
• Picking, stacking, and staging of product for load building.
• Paper reel handling from containers and curtain siders through to warehousing and production use.
• Use of electronic inventory management tools such as scanners and tablets.
• Participation in stocktake activities and inventory control processes.

What you will bring to the team :

As our new Forklift Driver, you will be a team player with a strong work ethic. You will have proven experience at confidently operating a forklift.

You will be committed to working safely and engaging with all safety processes and procedures, along with the following :

• A current OHS Forklift Certificate is essential, and F Endorsement is a bonus.
• You will have good attention to detail and an eye for accuracy.
• Be capable of time management and ensuring deadlines are met.
