Responsibilities:As an Infusion Nurse Practitioner with us, you will play a vital role in administering infusion therapy to patients dealing with chronic diseases and acute medical conditions. Key responsibilities include:
- Proficient in IV therapy
- Initiating IV infusions following established clinical protocols
- Monitoring patients throughout the infusion process to ensure their safety and comfort
- Maintaining precise electronic medical records to track patient progress and treatment plans
- Offering clear and comprehensive instructions to patients, educating them about infusion protocols
- Developing and implementing patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Managing and organizing medical supplies and IV equipment, including procurement and inventory control
- Fostering a welcoming and professional atmosphere for patients, promoting relaxation and confidence
- Ensuring an organized, hygienic, and safe work environment for all staff and patients
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues.
Requirements:
- A master’s degree from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of 3,600 hours of relevant experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current board certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse in Florida
- Prior infusion experience.
- Certifications in ACLS and BLS
