Building Maintenance Technician - Join Our Team Today!

As a Building Maintenance Technician, you will be a vital part of our team, ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities. Your expertise in maintenance and attention to detail will contribute to creating a safe and well-maintained environment for our employees and visitors.

Part Time Position - 8-hour day shift 8-5:30pm - Sunday's Only

Job Overview:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of the building.
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general building maintenance.
- Tracking of work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Welding tasks as needed for repairs and maintenance.
- Utilize an ohmmeter to diagnose electrical issues accurately.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to maintain equipment and perform repairs.
- Collaborate with the facilities maintenance team to address maintenance needs promptly.

Duties:

- Perform regular inspections of the building's systems to identify maintenance needs.
- Conduct repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and other building components.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols during maintenance tasks.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels for necessary supplies and equipment.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in building maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Proficiency in English communication for effective interaction with team members and reporting purposes.
- Customer service-oriented mindset when addressing maintenance requests.
- Ability to interpret schematics and blueprints for troubleshooting purposes.
- Experience with welding techniques for repairs is a plus.
- Proficient in using an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics.
- Mechanical knowledge to handle equipment maintenance effectively.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Weekends only

Experience:

  • Maintenance: 3 years (Required)
  • HVAC: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • HVAC Certification (Required)

Ability to Commute:
