Description

Vital DiagnosTech is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab RN for a full-time position in Beloit, Wisconsin. As a Cath Lab RN, you will work collaboratively with the cardiac catheterization team to provide exceptional patient care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Day shift, schedule TBD.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures
• Administer medications and intravenous therapies as required
• Assist in the preparation and set-up of the catheterization lab
• Assist the cardiologist during procedures, providing necessary instrumentation, medication, and support
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, such as electrocardiograms (ECGs)
• Assist with the insertion and removal of arterial and venous access devices
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure
• Document patient care and maintain accurate records
• Stay up to date on advancements in cardiac catheterization procedures and technologies

Requirements

• ACLS
• BLS
• IR experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
• Experience with interpreting ECGs and cardiac monitoring
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and fellow healthcare professionals
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Ability to handle stressful situations and emergencies
• Commitment to patient-centered care, safety, and confidentiality
