Your impact as a Mobile Phlebotomist is vital. You will assist Vitalant's donor care team in creating comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for our donor volunteers, m ost days you'll conduct a blood drive around town in one of our buses; other days you'll interact with donors at one of our local donation centers. Every day you will help save lives and have a vital impact on your community.
This position requires an active Class C drivers license and the desire to drive our box trucks and pass the CMV physical.Vitalant will provide the necessary training and assistance in obtaining the requirements to drive our passenger and equipment vehicles.
What to Expect
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday(Variable Hours)
Training: Must be able to train up to 11 weeks (Monday - Friday) in Sacramento.We will provide hotel, meal reimbursement and vehicle mileage.Training weeks are not consecutive weeks - longest duration is 6 weeks.

As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you'll get to:

• Set up and break down equipment for mobile blood drives.
• Keep blood donors comfortable and informed.
• Perform blood draws (paid training provided) .

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Active driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must pass CMV license / with physical requirement
• Ability to travel as required
• Able to lift 40 pounds
