OverviewWe are looking for an experienced RFP professional to join our growing team! The Pre-Sales Support Team supports Vitality Group's large and mid- market sales force in communicating (primarily in written form) the value of the program to prospective clients. The Pre-Sales Support Analyst role is responsible for managing and crafting well-written and compelling responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Information (RFIs), sales proposals and other written deliverables during the sales cycle. They will be a member of the Pre-Sales Support department, which is composed of dedicated and experienced professionals who work together in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication, self-starter, excellent project management and organizational skills, and be able to handle a heavy deadline-oriented workload. Key Responsibilities
Work closely in partnership with the pre-sales and sales (large and mid-market) on proposals and follow-up materials from prospective clients.
Understand product offerings in order to identify which solution matches a customer need; and establish and maintain effective relationships with internal subject-matter experts to develop/maintain deep product expertise and complete proposal writing assignments
Lead strategic discussions and use creative approaches to present information in proposals, RFP responses, cover letters, executive summaries, etc
Manage multiple proposals and document production activities simultaneously, while producing deliverables that meet and exceed quality standards and meet deadlines
Proactively consider and initiate new value-add processes to assist team in high quality deliverables
Create, utilize, and manage, with support of Pre-Sales team, database of standard content language used in proposals and RFP responses.
Participate in internal strategy sessions and act as an additional information resource for the RFP process
Assist with the identification of trends in RFPs and internally disseminate pertinent information to maintain market awareness.
Proactive and comfortable engaging with business subject matter experts to obtain relevant proposal language by department and tailor as needed to align with business and customer strategy
Requirements
Bachelor's degree, with a minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in sales operations or a similar field (Sales/sale enablement, technical writer, communications)
Demonstrated ability to work independently and under intense deadline pressure.
Great project management sills; demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects efficiently.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to interact and collaborate comfortably with varying departments and others at all levels of the organization
Advanced communication abilities, including excellent written and verbal skills
Advanced editing and proofreading skills; strong commitment to producing high-quality, error-free work
