We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation and logistics operations.

You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient movement of goods, managing communication with drivers and customers, and maintaining accurate records.

Duties :

• Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of drivers for pickups and deliveries
• Communicate with drivers to ensure on-time arrivals and resolve any issues or delays
• Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) such as AS400 or Oracle Transportation Management to track shipments and update information
• Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize routes, minimize costs, and improve overall efficiency
• Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities, including driver logs, delivery confirmations, and customer interactions
• Assist with fleet management tasks, such as vehicle maintenance scheduling and fuel tracking Skills :
• Strong knowledge of transportation management practices and procedures
• Familiarity with third-party logistics (3PL) operations
• Proficiency in using transportation management systems (TMS) such as AS400 or Oracle Transportation Management
• Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes - Familiarity with fleet management principles
