As a full-time, on-site Medical Assistant,you are a part of a collaborative team scribing for and supporting our dermatology providers. You ensure that all patients receive high quality, efficient, and comprehensive care. You demonstrate consistent adherence to the practice’s standards and procedures. You assist providers during medical and cosmetic procedures. You are an integral part of helping to communicate with and educate patients.

This position is at our Bourbonnais location. Starting compensation range is $18-$20 an hour, dependent on experience.

You must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably a Dermatology and/or Cosmetic Surgery office. Certified Medical Assistant and Scribing experience preferred but not required. EMR experience - preferably ModMed EMA or comparable software. CPR / BLS & Bloodborne Pathogen Certification preferred.

You have a passion for working in the healthcare environment. You are a team player, proactive, able to multi-task, organized, a go-getter, fast learner, empathetic, take initiative, detailed oriented, positive, personable, and professional in all your interactions. Along with basic typing, computer, English, and mathematical skills, you have an appropriate sense of discretion in dealing with varied and difficult situations; ensure compliance with all HIPPPA regulations; and, able to communicate effectively with providers, patients, co-workers, and vendors.
