VitalSkin Dermatology is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near Bourbonnais, IL
You must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably a Dermatology and/or Cosmetic Surgery office. Certified Medical Assistant and Scribing experience preferred but not required. EMR experience - preferably Nextech, ModMed EMA, or comparable software. CPR / BLS & Bloodborne Pathogen Certification preferred.
You have a passion for working in the healthcare environment. You are a team player, proactive, able to multi-task, organized, a go-getter, fast learner, empathetic, take initiative, detailed oriented, positive, personable, and professional in all your interactions. Along with basic typing, computer, English, and mathematical skills, you have an appropriate sense of discretion in dealing with varied and difficult situations; ensure compliance with all HIPPPA regulations; and, able to communicate effectively with providers, patients, co-workers, and vendors.
