We are looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Set-up Operator for a great machine shop that specializes in manufacturing precision machined parts for the aerospace industry located in Santa Fe Spring, CA.

1st shift 5 am to 4 : 30 pm (Monday thru Thursday)

2nd shift 4 : 30 pm to 4 : 00 am (Monday thru Thursday)

4th shift 5 am to 5 pm (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)

Direct Hire Position.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

Primary duty is to set-up machine and fabricate metal parts by operating, repair and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment.

Use blueprints and design sketches to ensure the proper dimensions and tolerance levels of the finished product. May be required to meet certain certifications in field and to have at least 1-2 years of experience.

Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the aerospace industry. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Work under immediate supervision.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities :

Assembly / Inspection : the attachment of two or more components to meet the drawing and specification requirements. To assist in 2nd operation in machine shop by tapping, deburring, ream of internal diameters or sharpen own tools to meet scheduling conflicts.

Machinist may be utilized in inspection due to workload.

Compensation : $26 - $28 / Hr. DOE
