Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory, submit work orders for eyeglasses and contact lenses
- Ensure the smooth running of the office and day-to-day operation
- Generate lab orders for glasses and contacts
- Work directly with patients to help meet all of their eye wear needs
- Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eye wear, and execute these details with flawless accuracy
- Check that our finished eye wear meets our optical standards, as well as customer requirements and requests
- Use your expertise to explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers Leadership responsibilities
- Support general office systems, inventory databases, and business operations
- Certification as a Licensed Optician and/or completion of an accredited Opticianry program
- Office management position for 2 years
- Extensive knowledge of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and other optical products
- A strong leader and mentor who exhibits model behavior, drives optical metrics, and adheres to strict optical standards
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of prioritizing tasks and responsibilities for yourself and your team in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment
