Job Overview:
As a Parts Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient management of our parts department. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the parts department, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and distributing parts.
- Utilize order management systems and inventory control techniques to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Coordinate with vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Implement and maintain a Computerized System for efficient tracking of parts.
- Oversee logistics for incoming and outgoing parts shipments.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with parts inquiries, orders, and returns.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs.
- Monitor and analyze parts usage to optimize inventory levels and minimize waste.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a parts management role within dealership environment
- Proficiency in using order management systems and inventory management software.
- Knowledge of inventory control best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
