Job Purpose:
Viva Eve is seeking a highly motivated individual with strong accounting skills to be part of the Finance department as the Senior Accountant. This position will oversee general accounting operations and perform complex accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and verifying agency financial transactions. The Senior Accountant will maintain a ledger to ensure the effectiveness and accuracy of all accounting tasks, including transactional processing, financial analysis, annual budget support and monitoring, and monthly financial statements.
Job Duties:
- Prepare monthly accruals to report expenses in the proper period
- Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
- Create periodic reports including variance explanations
- Assist with financial statements consolidation for this multi-entity environment
- Prepare documentation for external auditors and tax preparers

- Performing other related duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field
- 2 years of experience as an accountant
- Proven facility in MS Office, data entry, and office equipment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
- Experience with web based and online accounting SaaS platforms is required (Quickbooks Online, NetSuite, Bill.com, Abacus). Netsuite experience is preferred.
