HR Business Partner Professional
OVERVIEW
This Contractor Human Resources Business Partner position will partner directly with management teams for an assigned area of responsible at client. This position will deliver consultative HR services aligned to the business strategy for a population of approximately 400-600 employees. This position will have the ability to understand the business, the strategy and the mission to deliver integrated Human Resources management services and programs across the business.

As a trusted partner to and a member of the local leadership team, you will bring an independent viewpoint and HR expertise to business issues.
Proactively drive HR strategy within organization as aligned with business goals.
Provide coaching to managers and employees to accelerate leadership development at all levels in the organization.
Promote and champion diversity efforts in hiring, promotion, job rotations as per the collective bargaining agreement
Consult with partnered organization on strategies and communications designed to create an environment that drives individual and team success and retention.
Partner with the leadership team on talent development and performance management to maximize employee contributions and address performance gaps.
Identify needs for change management and champion related activities.
Provide counsel to managers and employees consistent with client policies and the collective bargaining agreement (CBA, if applicable)
Partner with HR Performance Optimization team and Shared Service providers on escalated questions regarding payroll, leave of absences, investigations, policies, etc.
REQUIRED BACKGROUND, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field such as Human Resources or Organizational Development. A Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Behavior Studies or related field preferred.
SHRM or HRCI Certification desired.
5 years of successful experience in a human resources capacity with successful demonstration of the key responsibilities as presented above.
Successful record developing strong trusting relationships to influence and achieve results, and help lead others through the phases of change.
Proven ability to prioritize, research, analyze, problem-solve, and make decisions rapidly and with positive outcomes that is in consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law.
Proven ability to communicate effectively, in both written and oral presentation skills.
Ability to be flexible, self-directed, motivated, and able to interact with employees at all levels in a highly matrixed and complex organization.
Ability to support and guide managers and employees in the administration, interpretation and application of policies and procedures.
The proven ability to objectively coach employees and management through routine and complex employee relations matters.
