Job Title: Charge Registered Nurse (RN)
Department: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Shift/Status: Full Time, 36 hrs/wk
Schedule: Night Shift (7pm-7am), self- scheduling
Intensive Care Unit
Patient Population: Critically ill patients (Medical, Surgical, Cardiac, and some Trauma)
# of beds: 16
Patient Ratios: 1:2

Job SummaryRegistered Nurse Charge oversees patient care, follows nursing regulations, fulfills organization's priorities, enhancing responsibility to promote mission. The main tasks of the role involve evaluating patients, identifying nursing diagnoses, creating personalized care plans, and assessing patient responses.

You will utilize nursing judgement and reasoning to make precise health assessments, ensuring these assessments align with standard practices.
You will check nursing procedures. Use research to make changes.
You will demonstrate caring practices by addressing both emotional and physical discomfort, aiming to foster healing and prevent excess distress.

Familiarity with nursing and patient care protocols and practices.
