Shift: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm - 8 hours a day 40 hours a week

Job Summary:

We Need experienced land development/site design civil engineers (swm, grading, utility design, roadway design, sewer design – key is design) and landscape architects.

We are looking for engineers who work in an office designing the site and producing the construction documents for the construction workers and engineers on the job site to follow.

Most of what recruiters send me to consider are civil engineers that have experience on managing projects on-site during construction, which is not us

Candidates should possess:

• Experience in land development/site design, including stormwater management (SWM), grading, utility design, and roadway design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited university; EIT certification preferred.
• Ability to make informed design decisions based on civil engineering concepts and local requirements.
• Experience in preparing and processing land development applications, particularly in Northern Virginia jurisdictions, is desirable

Responsibilities include:

• Creation of CAD drawings and details for site and subdivision plans.
• Site layout and utility design.
• Horizontal and vertical roadway design.
• Preparation of erosion and sediment control plans.
• Hydrologic computations for SWM facilities.
• Pavement design computations and site distance analysis.
• Quantity take-offs for site work.
• Coordination with internal and external project stakeholders
