Role: Sr. Rust engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance software applications with a focus on security and cryptography. You will work closely with our engineering and security teams to implement robust, scalable, and secure systems. This role requires deep expertise in Rust, as well as proficiency in C, C , and Java.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop secure software applications using Rust, C, C , and Java.
• Implement and manage cryptographic protocols and standards (e.g., PKCS11).
• Develop and maintain secure execution environments, including Trusted Execution Environments (TEE).
• Conduct security assessments and code reviews to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and security practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in Rust: Extensive experience in writing safe, concurrent, and efficient Rust code.
• C and C : Strong background in systems programming with C and C .
• Java: Solid understanding and experience with Java, particularly in building secure applications.
• Security and Cryptography: Deep knowledge of security principles, cryptographic algorithms, and protocols.
• PKCS11: Experience with PKCS11 for cryptographic token interfaces.
• Trusted Execution Environment (TEE): Familiarity with TEE concepts and implementation.
• Systems Programming: Expertise in low-level programming, memory management, and performance optimization.
• Problem Solving: Excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with secure software development practices.
• Familiarity with hardware security modules (HSMs) and secure enclaves.
• Knowledge of block chain technology and cryptographic protocols used in block chain applications.
• Contributions to open-source projects, particularly in the security or Rust ecosystem.
