VLinc Corporation is hiring one (01) Journeyman Logistics Analyst to become part of an integrated contractor team providing support through a U.S. Navy contract. The Journeyman Logistics Analyst provides support to the Senior Logistics Manager and correspondingly to the Program Office Assistant Program Manager for Logistics (APML)/Deputies and Logistics Element Managers (LEMs) across the full spectrum of Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements. Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Degree in Acquisition, Logistics Management, Business, Engineering, or Management
At least three (03) to ten (10) years' full-time experience in operational logistics support or maintenance engineering.
Three (03) years' experience in technical analysis of operational IPS requirements.
Three (03) years of specific experience in operational logistics planning.
Experience demonstrating ability to perform IPS studies, analysis, and evaluations in support of Department of Defense (DoD) weapons systems/equipment.
Essential Duties: The Journeyman Logistics Analyst will be responsible for performing the following tasks:
Support Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for respective organizations, including Individual Material Readiness List, Systems Engineering (SE), Propulsion and Power, Tech Data, etc.
Performs various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability and/or maintainability programs and information systems.
Works on logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as: technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources; development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans; systems acquisition requirements analysis; budgetary or financial analysis and control; Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis and control; weapons systems Hardware (HW) and Software (SW) standardization and compatibility; IPS/ Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) program Test and Evaluation (T&E) planning and execution; and, IPS/R&M program management analysis.
Collects, compiles, analyzes, investigates, researches, or applies logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information. Develops, modifies, prepares, or validates documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems.
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:
Coordinating with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
Facilitating training, meetings, and working groups with other team members, customers, and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues.
Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables.
Managing customer satisfaction within project transition period.
Assisting in preparing for Quarterly and Annual Program Management Reviews
Conducting post project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
