Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for Designing and providing WAN/LAN network administration, enterprise wireless, cloud administration (AZURE), SD WAN administration and Cisco/Palo Alto firewall administration.
- Troubleshooting the Level 3 and advanced network issues and performing call backs ensuring issues are resolved & appropriate solution is provided to the customer.
- Initiate improvements in tools (SolarWinds, Panorama, Prime, Cisco DNA, Infoblox) requirements gathering and processes.
- Responsible for investigating causes, tests solutions & suggest solutions in place to reduce the time taken to resolve the network related tickets.
- Make recommendations based on analytics to improve performance and optimization of network infrastructure.
- Manage new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.
- Understanding Network support priorities and objectives and taking an active role in accomplishing them.
- Help level 1/2 resources to address the Network related issues.
- Strong understanding of network routing and switching protocols required.
- Demonstrated experience with WAN and backbone network protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.) required.
- Experience with next generation firewall technology (Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, etc.) desirable.
- Experience with cloud (AWS, Azure, GC) networks and/or security desirable.
