The Role

We are seeking a Creative Strategist to join our A-team. You own the development of the strategy-driven creative solutions we provide to leading and high profile brands. You will lead the strategic roadmap creation, research and analysis, and the creative thought-starters that allow the creative teams to achieve strategy-driven creative campaigns and elevated branding. You will lead workshops, and develop competitive audits, benchmarks, perceptual maps and a clear directional plan, defining strong strategies and the creative solutions to achieve client goals. For the following types of projects: Brand Building, Big Idea Campaign Creation, Websites & Social. You will report to VMGROUPE's Creative Directors and Account Directors.

You Are

Multidisciplinary is an understatement. You are analytical, strategic and creative with extremely great taste and the passion to learn and self-teach new tools to improve your output, whether it be, adobe creative suite, video editing/compositing, image compositing, ai generative tools, copywriting, etc. You do what you need to get the job done.

What You’ll Do

- Act as brand champion, leading strategy development for brand campaigns

- Serve as an excellent leader in aligning strategy w/ a client’s business goals and objectives

- Monitor and interpret cultural and social trends relevant to our client’s business

- Work closely with creatives to ensure all ideas meet business objectives

- Collaborate w/ cross-agency partners on an ongoing basis

- Research, connect, and partner w/ internal and external stakeholders to optimize effectiveness of client campaigns

- Develop frameworks and methodologies for approaching major strategic issues, leveraging existing VMGROUPE intellectual capital

What You’ll Bring

- 6 years of experience in marketing strategy, planning, or brand management

- Agency experience preferred

- Proven leadership ability w/ strong client relationship skills

- Strong familiarity w/ the digital environment

- Experience coordinating and collaborating on multiple strategic projects across internal teams and client relationships

- Expertise within the digital/social environment and aligning marketing strategies with business needs

- Knowledge of integrated marketing and CRM disciplines (including primary research, segmentation, targeting, direct marketing, and customer care)

- Exceptional written, oral communication and presentation skills

- Proficiency in PowerPoint

- Can work within fast paced campaigns

- You are authorized to work lawfully in the United States

Key Things to Know

• This is a full-time Independent Contractor Position.

· Onboarding takes 30 days. You are expected to show promise and your difference by month 2.

• This is a NYC role. Must work from our office with remote work flexibility as you wish, yet being in the office is and on set and shoots is 90% of the role.
