Roles & Responsibilities

• Assembly and installation of servers, switches and cabling.
• Installation of support structures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of copper (UTP, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a) and fiber optic cable

• Understanding of data rack cabling standards and best practices.
• Terminating cable and distribution frames.
• Ability to read and interpret various types of build documents, schematics, and cable running lists.
• Safely operate various hand tools, maintain accurate inventory, and maintain safety standards
• Minimum five years of experience cabling complex data rack systems & min of 1 year wire labeling
• Able to lift 50 lbs. as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

• Data Center Cable Technician: 3 years (Preferred)
• Assembly and installation of servers: 3 years (Preferred)
• Assembly and installation of switches: 3 years (Preferred)
• Assembly and installation of cabling: 3 years (Preferred)
• UTP: 3 years (Preferred)
• Cat5e: 3 years (Preferred)
