Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Reliability Manager to lead the development and implementation of predictive and preventative maintenance programs. The ideal candidate will ensure equipment and process reliability while driving continuous improvement in both staff and equipment performance. This role involves overseeing the maintenance of industrial machinery, supporting Lean Manufacturing initiatives, and maintaining a computerized maintenance management system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Direct and support employees in the repair of electrical and mechanical systems, adhering to electrical codes, manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Scheduling: Assign tasks and schedule maintenance technicians to ensure timely completion of work orders and maintain equipment calibrations.
• Diagnostics: Guide employees in diagnosing and replacing faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
• Lean Initiatives: Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and work with operation teams to address equipment and process deficiencies.
• Inventory Management: Manage spare parts and maintenance supplies inventories, and negotiate with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Reporting: Prepare reports, analyze data, and recommend improvements for maintenance operations.
• Training: Ensure maintenance associates are well-trained and motivated to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
• System Management: Oversee the computerized maintenance management system for tracking work orders and maintenance history.
• Metrics Tracking: Track and improve key maintenance metrics such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, and PM compliance.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of five years of maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with troubleshooting mechanical systems with electronic controls.
  • Proven ability in managing electrical and mechanical maintenance for manufacturing equipment.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in digital controls troubleshooting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competency in using computer applications, including Word and Excel.
