Seeking a Configuration Management Analyst for a manufacturer of high precision engineered products sold into multiple highly regulated industries (aerospace, aviation, medical, and DOD). This is a new position, and is a fantastic opportunity for someone to put their mark on a growing organization by developing and maintaining a company wide program. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining, configuration management processes and procedure. The CM Analyst ensures that configuration control and approval policies are followed. Data maintained within the PDM includes but is not limited to: CAD models, drawings, software, part data, Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Export Control Classification(s), company policies, company records, and work instructions. This role requires rigorous attention to detail and strong, proactive inter-department communication skills.

Major Responsibilities:

• Performs activities in accordance with Configuration Management policies and procedures.
• Ensures timely release of documents and ECOs by shepherding required reviews and approvals.
• Ensures quality and business policy documents are reviewed as required.
• Engages with strategic projects to ensure Configuration Management can deliver required functionality within project timeframes.
• Mentors the organization on Configuration Management services, concepts, policies, and procedures.
• Maintains and improves document control workflows within the PDM.
• Tests revised document control workflows prior to organizational roll-out.
• Collects and reports metrics as required.
• Identifies and reports non-compliance situations and works with leadership for resolution.
• Performs Configuration Management audits as directed.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of previous configuration management experience in a highly regulated industry (i.e. aerospace, medical, nuclear, etc.).
• Familiar with applying configuration management standards such as EIA-649, ISO 10007, or MIL-HDBK-61.
• Solid understanding of configuration control principles and practices.
• Proficient in administration of corporate configuration control software.
• Experience architecting compliant, logical, efficient workflows for Aerospace configuration management.
• Experience with SolidWorks PDM.
• Ability to review documents and drawings for completeness, consistency, and adherence to company standards.
• Knowledge in AMSE Y14.100 or MIL-DTL-310000C.
• Experience reviewing drawings for compliance to Y14.5 (GD&T Standard).
