Seeking a talented Program Manager for a highly respected manufacturer in the Greater Rockford, IL area. This is a key role driving ongoing company growth through efficient R&D and New Product Introduction (NPI) programs, and this high-profile position regularly interfaces with all levels of the organization, including the executive team.

Responsibilities include:

• Interface with the customer to maintain alignment between customer expectations, company activities, and approved project scope.
• Track program performance to planned schedule and budget using EVMS and other tools.
• Manage program changes as they arise and adjust planned schedule and budget accordingly.
• Promote and maintain ongoing cross-functional (Engineering, Accounting, Contracts, and Sales) communication and proactive collaboration to ensure successful team project execution.
• Facilitate work with subcontractors, providing regular status updates to internal team.
• Utilize the company’s NPI processes and milestones to successfully guide program execution from design to qualification and production.
• Create schedule, cost, and resource estimates to support proposals for new Engineering and NPI activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline required. Advanced degree or certification(s) a plus.
• Experience with motion control related products preferred
• Proven ability to work both as an individual and as a member of a high-performance team.
• Demonstrated experience with planning and scheduling for multiple programs and multiple customers.
• Familiarity with ISO 9000 or AS9100 practices.
