A fifty-plus year-old, privately held, regional distributor and manufacturer’s representative for a wide range of industry leading, sealed and sealless industrial pumps, XLPE tanks, water treatment controllers and accessories.
Description
The Account Manager is responsible for assuring client and customer needs in the assigned region are met and understood by each department in the company. Their duties include handling any client requests and complaints, working to find solutions to any client issues and working with other departments to ensure clients are experiencing a positive client-company relationship.
Location
This is a remotely located (virtual office) position where the Account Manager shall live within an active portion of the territory. The Account Manager will establish an office in their home.

Duties and Responsibilities
A competent Account Manager should be flexible enough to handle a variety of duties that pertain to the company and our clients. Their main responsibility is to make sure the company’s customers are happy, and some of their specific daily duties include:
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or other technical field of study (Engineering degree preferred but not required).
Comprehensive training and presentation skills to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with and a practical understanding of the design, application, performance characteristics, and related thermodynamics (where applicable), for all types of pumps, electric motors, XLPE tanks and instrumentation control systems in industrial applications.
An independent operating skill of Windows based computer systems including Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Teams and general business operating systems.
The account manager shall have a valid unrestricted driver’s license and be qualified for, or currently a participant, in the TSA or U.S. Coast Guard TWIC Identification Card program,
