Summary: The Warehouse and Internal Logistics Internship position provides an opportunity for engineering and supply chain students to experience a Global diversified company. The intern in this role will gain experience in internal logistics processes to aid in efficient warehousing processes including receiving, picking, shipping, warehouse setup and layout.

Summary: The Warehouse and Internal Logistics Internship position provides an opportunity for engineering and supply chain students to experience a Global diversified company. The intern in this role will gain experience in internal logistics processes to aid in efficient warehousing processes including receiving, picking, shipping, warehouse setup and layout.
Responsibilities:
- Review and document current warehouse receiving, picking and shipping processes.
- Evaluate processes and propose improvements to improve efficiency through waste elimination.
- Assist with setup and documentation of mobile warehouse management system.
- Investigate layout strategies to improve picking efficiency and hand-off to workshop.
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business-related courses.
- Organized and has skills to multi-task several projects with several team members.
- Self-starter, motivated, energetic, persistent, inquisitive, and creative.
- Ability to clearly communicate via email, telephone and face-to-face.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications and strong with excel.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to lift to 25 pounds at a time.
- Must wear gloves and ear protection.
