We are currently searching for an experienced Site Civil Engineer to support our Carolinas Region located in Raleigh or Charlotte, NC. What You’ll Be Doing
Prepare design plans and construction documents for civil infrastructure improvements for general civil, transportation and utility projects. This work may include: roadway design and drainage design; traffic management, pavement marking, and signing plans; site design; civil/site permitting; utility coordination and/or design.
Knowledge of construction process as it relates to civil engineering improvement projects
Project management including: frequent communication with clients, local agencies and permitting agencies
On-site project visits – occasional travel will be required
What You Need To Have
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited engineering program
5 - 10 years of engineering experience
EIT Certification or Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of North Carolina
Experience with Microstation and Geopak, AutoCAD. Open Roads experience preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Individual must be highly motivated and have the ability to articulate engineering concepts to technical personnel
