Volkswagen of Akron is currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Service Advisor. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality customer service to all clients, as well as supporting the overall success of our service department. As a commission-based position, you will have the opportunity to increase your earnings based on your performance.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner and understand their service needs
- Assist customers with scheduling appointments and explain the repair and maintenance process
- Accurately estimate repair costs and provide quotes to customers
- Communicate with the service technicians to ensure timely and efficient completion of repairs
- Update customers on the status of their vehicle and address any questions or concerns
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all service appointments and transactions
- Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner
- Strive to achieve and exceed individual and department goals and targets
- Continuously maintain knowledge of Volkswagen products, services, and promotions
- Attend training and development sessions to stay current on industry trends and advancements
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as safety standards
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education or training in automotive technology is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in the automotive industry
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in computer and technology systems
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
