Job Description:

The Project Manager will support multiple Volt projects from quote to completion. The project manager will be responsible for taking a project from start to finish including, but not limited to, site surveys, quoting, designing, engineering, documenting, crewing, prepping, overseeing, and close out. This position is a client facing position that will require excellent communication skills, as well as some travel, when necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the entire project lifecycle
• Working closely with the Sales team to accurately quote jobs
• System design and engineering
• Work with procurement to spec and acquire the required assets
• Work with the CAD department to produce accurate drawings and deliverables
• Attending site surveys as needed
• Overseeing prep, install, strike, and deprep, as needed
• Working with Production Labor Manager to crew shows, as needed
• Some travel may be required
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 2 years of project planning/management experience
• Proven experience with managing large cross-functional projects, specifically in the entertainment industry
• Knowledge of electricity, electronics, networking, and construction required
• Knowledge or entertainment rigging practices preferred
• Experience with MA Lighting products preferred
• Experience with budgeting for projects required
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Experience with Vectorworks preferred
• Experience managing project teams of 1-15 members and fast-paced schedules
• Ability to engage effectively at all levels, from entry-level to C-suite
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Able to collect and analyze data to support project goals and initiatives
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in oral and written communication
• Previous experience with rental software a plus

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
