Volt is immediately hiring for Entry Level Material Handler in Hillsboro OR.

Our client, a leading server manufacturer, is looking for qualified Material Handlers to perform various duties including Direct Shipping, Receiving, Packaging, and Inventory Control.

As a Material Handler you will.

• Maintain a clean and orderly receiving area, warehouse, and production floor.
• With moderate supervision, may be responsible for verifying inventory accuracy using measuring systems such as cycle counting.
• Will perform kit pulling for production work orders and shipping needs.
• With minimal supervision will be responsible for receiving product, data entry of goods receipt, verifying contents, stocking items on shelf and labeling product or bins.
• Will inspect products for defects and conformance.
• Will coordinate material returns.
• With moderate supervision may be responsible for packing and shipping finished product.
• May be responsible for basic inventory transactions after sufficient training.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Performing quality checks on final goods produced.
• Perform final procedures for shipping that include :
• Shrink wrapping product
• Adding decals and graphics to the unit
• Ensuring all required documentation is placed with the unit

Material Handler Qualifications :

• Ability to use MS Office (excel, word, outlook).
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills
• Good reading comprehension skills. Able to comprehend verbal instructions and execute them.
• Accuracy and attention to detail is a must.

Physical Requirements :

• Able to repetitively bend, kneel, turn, and lift throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Able to perform repetitive and sometimes tedious tasks throughout an 8-hour shift such as labeling, scanning, and movement of material at a consistent pace.
• Able to lift and / or place material that weighs up to 40 pounds on a workbench, a cart, or in a system.
• Able to push or pull carts and systems, with the assistance of another operator or by using an electric pallet jack.

This is a Temp to Hire opportunity. Day Shift 6 : 30AM-3PM, Monday- Friday

Pay Starting at $20.00

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
