Volt is immediately hiring for a Packer at Oxnard, CA.

As a Packer , you will :

• Understand the differences in produce including but not limited to size, label, color, ripeness and overall quality.
• Understand the various customers and the specifications in quality that each customer requires.
• Understand the various proper packing procedures including but not limited to box types and bag configurations.
• Determine fruit and bag quality and sort according to company and customer quality standards.
• Utilize any supporting packing materials for all product types.
• Ensure working area is always clean and ready according to company standards.
• Undergo safety and job training pertinent to your job.
• Complete other duties as directed by supervisors or leads.

This is a Full-Time Contract opportunity.

This is a 1st Shift Position Hours : 6am 6 : 30pm (12-14 hour days including 8 hours on Saturday)

Pay Rate $16 / hr

The Ideal Candidate will have :

• Warehouse / packaging or Food industry experience desired.
• High school Diploma / GED desired.
• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
