Job Overview:
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As a Registered Nurse - ICU, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV insertions following established protocols
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Assist in trauma medicine procedures and acute care interventions
- Participate in discharge planning and health coaching for patients and their families
- Utilize expertise in inhalation therapy and experience administering injections
- Ensure compliance with workers compensation laws and infection control protocols

Qualifications:
- Valid RN license with a background in ICU nursing
- Experience working in an ICU or critical care setting is preferred
- Proficiency in acute care procedures and trauma medicine
- Strong communication skills to educate patients and families on healthcare strategies
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Knowledge of health coaching principles and discharge planning processes
- Familiarity with Level I Trauma Center standards is a plus
